Job Title: Class B Delivery Driver

At Reliable Resources Agency, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Class B Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products from one location to another in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning: Plan and organize delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries. Familiarity with GPS and navigation apps may be required.
  • Loading and Unloading: Properly load and unload goods while ensuring that they are secured to prevent damage during transit.
  • Documentation: Complete delivery logs, mileage records, and other required paperwork accurately. Some deliveries may require the collection of signatures or payments.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance and answering questions when needed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, and tire pressure, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and in good working condition.
  • Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain a safe driving record and prioritize safety at all times.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage time to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, or adverse weather conditions, with professionalism and adaptability.
  • Product Knowledge: Depending on the industry, delivery drivers may need to have some knowledge of the products they are delivering, especially for specialized or sensitive items.
Qualifications:
  • Driver's License: Class B License.
  • Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
  • Physical Stamina: Delivery drivers may need to lift, carry, and move heavy packages, so physical fitness is important.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Dependability: Punctuality and reliability are crucial, as customers rely on timely deliveries.
  • Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
  • Customer Service: A customer-focused attitude with a dedication to providing excellent service.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years experience.
