CNC Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Entech Staffing Solutions. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating 2D or 3D cutter paths for cutting aluminum prototype plastic injection molds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create 2D or 3D cutter paths for cutting aluminum prototype plastic injection molds
  • Program CNC mills using CAD/CAM software
  • Utilize CAM software and Autodesk Fusion 360 or CAMWorks, WorkNic, Visi, and SolidWorks
  • Set up and operate CNC mills (Fadal, Haas, Fanuc)
  • Line up CNC setup personnel with process sheets
  • Create layout prints for key dimensional areas
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience as a CNC Programmer (creating cutter paths & 3-D Solids)
  • Previous experience using program software
  • Experience cutting molds or dies
  • Experience with injection molding is a plus

Location: Lapeer and Brown Rd, Lake Orion MI

Pay Rate: $20-27/hr

Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 5:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (standard 10 hour days) & 1⁄2 a day on Saturday 5:30 -10:30 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
