Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist, working with mold bases, in the Metro Detroit area, to join our team. Our company offers night shift premiums, competitive wages, full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, and life insurance). Our company also offers a 401k program, up to 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO), personal time, and holidays. We are actively interviewing and there are both day and night shifts available.

Responsibilities: 

  • Interpret technical blueprints and drawings 
  • Set up and operate CNC machines 
  • Work with materials such as metals and plastics 
  • Adjust CNC programs 
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment 
  • Align and calibrate tools and fixtures 
  • troubleshoot in order to resolve machine issues 
  • Collaborate with team members 

Key Requirements:

  •  2 or more years of experience of hands-on CNC machining 
  • Knowledge setting up lathes, mills, etc.
  • knowledge of metals, alloys, and composites 
  • Understanding of CNC control systems or G-code (Haas, Siemens, or similar) 
  • Understand and possess industry-standard equipment
