Physical Therapist

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Full-Time or Part-Time assignment at a correctional facility located in California. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Position Overview:
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: California Correctional Facility
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4/10s available
Shifts: 7am - 3:30pm, 7am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $80/hr (1099/independent contractor)
Responsibilities
Provide Physical Therapy services to patients at the correctional facility, performing care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the CDCR institution/facilities policies and procedures.
Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients, communicating with relevant medical personnel as needed.
Report and maintain accurate records of patient progress and care provided, utilizing CDCR-approved documentation forms.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Ability to work in a correctional facility setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
