Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Quality Temp Staffing. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for conducting mammograms for screening and diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mammograms for screening and diagnostic purposes, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results.
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
- Maintain detailed patient records and manage documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with CA DPH regulations and maintain licensure and training standards.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R)(M) certification.
- California Dept. of Public Health (CRT) certification.
- Tomosynthesis certificate required.
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Mammography Technologist in a hospital setting.
- Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
- Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months.
- Current Annual Health Clearance.
