Job Description Summary:


As a Registered Nurse for the Triage Line, you will operate under the general supervision of a licensed provider. This role requires a keen attention to detail, exceptional communication skills over the phone, and a strong commitment to customer service.

We seek proactive individuals who excel in problem-solving and can manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. You will gain insight into organizational policies and procedures that support departmental functions.

This is a full-time position with benefits at Summit Spine & Joint Centers, reporting to the Nurse Manager. The primary work location will be at the Administrative Building or another designated site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing patient medical histories and evaluating symptoms and severity of conditions.
  • Managing the internal Nurse phone line, responding to incoming calls to assist patients with their preoperative and postoperative inquiries.
  • Initiating emergency protocols as necessary.
  • Updating patient records in the electronic medical records system.
  • Collaborating with various administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and support for patient care.
  • Monitoring vital signs and providing education to patients and their families.
  • Adhering to all company policies regarding patient service standards.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Active RN Compact License in good standing.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
  • Ability to establish rapport with patients.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.


Experience in a Hospital Setting Required
Bilingual candidates are preferred or those capable of utilizing a language line.
