Job Description Summary:
As a Registered Nurse for the Triage Line, you will operate under the general supervision of a licensed provider. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent verbal communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
This is a full-time, benefited position that reports to the Nurse Manager. The primary work location will be determined based on operational needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Assessing patient medical histories and evaluating symptoms and severity of conditions.
2. Managing the internal Nurse phone line by responding to incoming calls to assist patients with their preoperative and postoperative inquiries.
3. Initiating emergency interventions as necessary.
4. Updating patient information within the electronic medical records system.
5. Collaborating with various administrative teams to ensure effective communication and support for patient care.
6. Monitoring vital signs and educating patients and their families.
7. Adhering to all company policies regarding patient service standards.
Skills And Abilities:
- Valid RN Compact License in good standing.
- ACLS Certification.
- Proficiency with medical software and equipment.
- Ability to establish rapport with patients.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Experience in a Hospital Setting Required
Bilingual candidates are preferred or those who can effectively utilize a language line.
