Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our QA/QC team at Batchelor & Kimball. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Record Development: Develop and maintain accurate and complete quality records, including hydro forms and civil forms, for review and retention.
  • Information Storage and Retrieval: Design and implement effective information storage systems to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data.
  • Quality Data Compilation and Reporting: Compile and report quality-related QA/QC data for management review and reporting.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to construction documents.
  • Data Input and Compilation: Input data into software programs and compile data books for final turnover to clients.
  • Independence and Integrity: Work independently while demonstrating strong qualities and integrity.
Requirements
  • Computer Application Skills: Strong computer application skills, including proficiency in data management and reporting software.
  • Field Experience: Minimum 3 years of field experience with the ability to read and interpret instructions and documents.
  • Independent Work: Ability to plan and perform work activities independently.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to prioritize, plan, perform, and communicate activities in both written and verbal form.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Quality Management Systems: Experience working with quality management systems is preferred.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy applied to data management, collection, and reporting.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
  • Quality Control Experience: Experience in Quality Control activities on assigned projects at construction sites is preferred.
  • Basic Knowledge: Basic knowledge pertaining to welding, pressure testing, coating, and torqueing.
  • Process Paperwork: Process paperwork regarding material testing and QA/QC.
  • Onsite Work: Working onsite at field locations.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Aptitude to Learn: Aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Training Ability: Ability to train staff on necessary operations.
