Lovelace Health System is seeking a skilled Electroencephalography (EEG) Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. As a day shift, part-time EEG Technician, you will be responsible for recording electrical impulses from the brain using an electroencephalograph. Your duties will include applying electrodes to predetermined positions on patients' scalps, taking and verifying recordings, operating and maintaining specialized equipment, and monitoring and transcribing physician orders. To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and one to three years of previous EEG experience. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree from an accredited electroeurodiagnostic technology program and eligibility for or current registration by ABRET.
