Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Encourage innovation and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the execution of critical projects within a microservices framework.
  • Act as the engineering representative in our quarterly planning sessions.

  • Engage in hiring strategies and budgeting processes.
  • Participate in technical and architectural discussions, guiding direction and decision-making.
Qualifications

Your background:
  • 5+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing DevOps best practices.
  • Familiarity with high-traffic public-facing e-commerce platforms.
  • A passion for promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we are committed to creating equitable, transparent, and competitive compensation structures. Our baseline compensation is designed to exceed typical market ranges, reflecting our expectations for new hires.

Base salaries vary by geographic pay zones in the United States:

  • Zone A: $205,800 - $274,400
  • Zone B: $185,200 - $246,900
  • Zone C: $170,800 - $227,700

This position may also offer additional benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity opportunities.
