Position Overview:
  • Engages with stakeholders to conduct application functionality gap assessments and feasibility evaluations.
  • Directs development efforts for a specific functional area, module, or project. Provides and documents technical designs and specifications that align with business and functional requirements.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains tools/applications. Ensures that applications and systems have adequate controls in place.
  • Conducts unit testing prior to transitioning code/configuration to the Quality Assurance process. Evaluates and investigates upgrades, patches, and new functionalities. Diagnoses defects and addresses root causes in applications.
  • Contributes to the creation and definition of test plans and scripts for performance, regression, and user acceptance testing; supports Quality Assurance activities as necessary.
  • Constructs and sustains templates, rules, style sheets, workflows, data extractions and imports, interfaces, and object models.
  • Examines applications for adherence to security protocols.
  • Educates team members in areas of expertise. Participates in and leads peer review sessions.
  • Processes Finance Service Requests as a backup to the Senior Business Systems Analyst, adhering to established controls and service level agreements.
