Job Overview

This is a highly skilled role within our Aeronautics Systems sector. The successful candidate will be part of our team of qualified individuals defining the future.

Role Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team working on Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) business unit. This project involves developing advanced technology that seamlessly analyzes, fuses, and distributes multi-domain information into command-and-control systems of systems to support all domains of war.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, configure, test, document, and troubleshoot avionics equipment subsystems
  • Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives
  • Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including acceptance, qualification, system integration, and test support
  • Requirements development, analysis, maturation, and implementation
  • Perform informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a D. in STEM AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • An active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
  • Demonstrated experience with aircraft cockpit avionics such as flight displays, flight computers, control systems, data storage, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Control Account Management (CAM) and a fundamental understanding of project cost, schedule, and risk management
  • Ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Experience with integration of COTS/MOTS electronics into airborne military systems
  • Experience with supplier team management, working on a multidisciplinary team, and/or writing and evaluating technical proposals
  • Certified Control Account Manager (CCAM) certification
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range: $84,000 - $120,000 per year. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
