We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Novel Engineering in Melbourne, FL.

Job Overview

This is a fast-paced agile product development role that requires strong electrical engineering skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience with circuit design, integration testing, and lab debug of mixed signal designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze system requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Design digital and analog circuits, including schematic capture.
  • Lab circuit debug experience on mixed signal designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 15+ years of design experience.
  • Experience with Altium Design tools and PCB layout.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and people skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of FPGA design experience on Xilinx and Intel (Altera) Development Tools.
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols, such as Bluetooth and WIFI.
  • RF design experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing concepts and applications.
