Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech Lead to join our team at Medical City Lewisville. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for scans, operating nuclear medicine equipment, and ensuring the safe handling of radioactive isotopes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for scans, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal imaging results
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images and measure the concentration of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas
  • Practice proper radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and visitors
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Support the department's goals and objectives, including quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction programs
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification within 60 months of employment start date
  • Registration/eligibility with NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of training program
  • Texas licensed MRT
  • 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field
