Position Overview:
CMAP Express is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to advocate for healthy dietary practices and deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy to clients enrolled in the Healthy Lifestyle Program across the designated service area.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited dietetics program and hold a current license/registration with the Commission for Dietetic Registration (CDR). An active dietetics license in Louisiana is mandatory. Additional expertise or certification in physical fitness or personal training is highly regarded.

Experience:
A minimum of three to five years of professional experience in dietetics is required. The candidate should demonstrate strong competencies in team collaboration, organizational skills, time management, effective communication, and interpersonal relations. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are essential, as the role involves travel within the service area.

Key Responsibilities:
The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for:
1. Delivering personalized Medical Nutrition Therapy and conducting group nutrition and exercise counseling sessions for clients.
2. Motivating and educating clients on sustainable healthy eating and exercise habits.
3. Assessing, designing, and evaluating individualized meal and fitness plans tailored to clients' needs.
4. Providing ongoing nutritional counseling and education based on clients' lifestyles and health requirements.
5. Monitoring, tracking, and adjusting meal plans as necessary to meet clients' evolving needs.
6. Collaborating with healthcare providers to communicate client progress and recommendations.

Community Engagement:
The Registered Dietitian will also engage in community outreach by:
1. Presenting nutritional information at community events and health awareness initiatives.
2. Translating complex nutrition science into practical advice for diverse audiences.

Professional Development:
The candidate is expected to stay updated with the latest research in nutritional science and implement evidence-based practices in their counseling.

Work Environment:
This position is part-time and offers various benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The work schedule is Monday to Friday.
