We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care nursing services to patients in the PACU department
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying potential complications and taking appropriate action
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate dosing and timing
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in the state of New Hampshire or valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
- PALS certification within 90 days of hire
