PACU Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.

• Provide direct patient care to patients recovering from anesthesia, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential complications and take proactive steps to prevent them.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices in the field.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of New Hampshire or a valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in a PACU or similar critical care setting.
