Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording timely and accurate financial transactions, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and process financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial statements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including credit cards, insurance, facilities, and supply houses.
  • Process payroll and facilitate cash management.
  • Manage contracts, including setup and monthly billing.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial records, including reconciling balance sheet accounts monthly.
  • Provide financial reports and statements to management, explaining variances.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding and application of accounting rules.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
