OBJECTIVE
The Reception Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to all prospective and current students as well as visitors by fostering a friendly and inviting atmosphere. It is essential to maintain a tidy and organized reception area to uphold our professional image. The Reception Operations Specialist is expected to stay informed about all campus functions to effectively respond to inquiries from students, guests, and colleagues. This position is vital on campus as it provides the first impression to those who enter or contact the reception area. Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Act as the initial point of contact by greeting, welcoming, and directing all visitors and students appropriately
•Oversee all reception activities
•Handle all incoming calls and respond to emails as necessary
•Provide administrative assistance to managers and/or directors to support the daily operations of the campus
•Receive and accurately distribute deliveries
•Facilitate communication across the campus as required
•Ensure a clean and orderly reception area
•Perform additional duties as assigned by Office Manager / Campus Director
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
•Minimum of two years' experience in administrative support
•Advanced skills in prioritizing, multitasking, and meeting deadlines through effective time management
•Ability to work well under pressure while remaining organized, calm, and professional
•Excellent communication and customer service abilities
•Capacity to maintain highly confidential information
•Essential traits include a positive attitude, a willingness to assist others, self-motivation, confidence, and a results-oriented mindset
•Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly campus goals
•Other important characteristics include being a team player and possessing strong verbal and written communication skills
•Always conduct oneself in a professional manner regarding appearance, demeanor, and attitude
•Consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in all actions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Can independently lift objects up to 25 lbs.

Salary Description
$15 to $20 per hour
