The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.
Glasco residence is a home for six women, located between Kingston and Saugerties. Employees at Glasco provide hands-on care, requiring a sense of humor, patience, and compassion.
A high school diploma or GED is desired, with post-high-school education in Human Services a plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are necessary. Training includes Van Certification, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
HOURS: On-call/as needed
STARTING SALARY: $17.51 to $19.27 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Acceptable NYS Driver's License
- Computer skills
