Project Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for projects.
  • Interpret and explain project plans and contract terms to stakeholders.
  • Track project progress and quality of work.
  • Lead project teams to completion, including post-project reviews and regular status updates.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Provide technical assistance and interpretation of project drawings and specifications.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Customer Satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve employee or contractor issues.
  • Confer with stakeholders to discuss and resolve matters related to work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Negotiate with others to resolve conflicts and grievances.
Safety

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Inspect projects to monitor compliance with safety requirements.
Closeout

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site walkthroughs and inspections.
  • Ensure project close-out, including operation and maintenance manuals, owner training, and punch lists.
Schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-bid, turnover, and pre-planning meetings as required.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project team activities in line with the project schedule.
  • Assign duties and work schedules to project team employees.
  • Develop or update project plans, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Implement new or modified plans in response to delays, change orders, or construction site emergencies.
Financial

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including fee payment, rental equipment, income, and expenses.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Be aware of monthly figures and take proactive action to prevent losses and maximize profitability.
  • Address and correct issues when the project exceeds budget or scope.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
  • 5+ years of prior project management experience.
  • 5+ years of basic understanding of business administration and management principles.
  • 5+ years of basic understanding of engineering and technology, including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • 5+ years of basic understanding of building and construction materials, tools, and processes.

Pay Range: $80,575 - $120,852 per year
