Pueblo Mechanical & Controls is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead our sheet metal department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of foremen and sheet metal technicians to deliver exceptional quality and customer service.
- Project Management: Develop solutions to prevent issues from becoming problems, review projects with leadership, and conduct physical surveys to ascertain project conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure quality of work meets and/or exceeds acceptable industry standards, complete quality assurance analysis on projects, and conduct job-site walks with clients to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Human Resources: Recognize and track employee progress, nominate individuals for promotions and/or incentive bonuses, and assist with interviewing prospective employees.
- Safety: Ensure all Pueblo Mechanical and project-specific safety requirements are met, coordinate with the safety officer for jobsite visits, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Leadership and Management: Demonstrate self-motivation, punctuality, and the ability to multi-task.
- Industry Experience: Possess experience working in the sheet metal industry, preferably with government facilities.
