Location Description

Our facility in the Village of West Jefferson, OH, is strategically located near the western suburbs of Columbus and is within a 20-minute drive from downtown. We take pride in being a greenfield project, producing high-quality protein shakes that cater to a global audience. Our commitment to our employees, community, and environment is unwavering.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and reinforce safety as a core value.
  • Implement and lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on human safety, food safety, and process enhancements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet operational KPIs and goals, driving departmental excellence.
  • Build and lead efficient operations teams, providing comprehensive training to ensure employees meet company objectives.
  • Participate in plant management initiatives to promote facility growth and development, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Prepare departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and take corrective action to maintain profitability and reduce operational costs.
  • Drive continuous improvement of product quality and yields.
  • Regularly report and present departmental performance and status.
  • Support the quality assurance department in consumer complaint investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Engage with regulatory inspectors, addressing concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of company rules, procedures, and operational processes, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Adhere to quality work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production and supervision.
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of plant operations in aseptic filling.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Supervising personnel in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams, as well as succession planning.
  • Preparing and managing department budgets.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Experience in the dairy industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Effective computer skills in MS Office Suite are required.
  • Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
