  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
  • Train and develop employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including GMPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
  • Manage and control costs, including ingredient usage and department expenses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including timecards, downtime records, and absentee records.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Encourage employee suggestions for process improvements and recognize and reward employees for their contributions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multi-functional tasks.
  • Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as required.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
