Job Overview

United Wholesale Mortgage is seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our virtual server environments, databases, and cloud services. Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain virtual server environments, databases, and cloud services to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor systems uptime and performance, taking proactive measures to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Install, upgrade, and configure hardware, software, and databases based on established procedures and best practices.
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation for design, operation, procedures, and subscription runbooks.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with business customers, technical teams, and management to resolve issues and provide status updates.
Qualifications
  • Graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2025 or 2026 (current junior/senior status).
  • The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from the end of May to mid-August.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to both thrive in a team environment and effectively work independently to complete assignments on time.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to receive and apply feedback.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills while being comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate adaptability and forward thinking in the face of technological or organizational change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple, and understandable way.
