Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering a 5-star experience for our patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a multi-line phone system to schedule and reschedule appointments
  • Ensuring the daily schedule is optimized for all providers
  • Collecting and updating patient personal and insurance information
  • Confirming and documenting patient appointments
  • Enforcing financial policies by accurately processing payments
  • Utilizing software for patient check-in and managing necessary paperwork
  • Reviewing treatment plans with patients
  • Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Maintaining electronic patient records securely
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the office lobby and waiting areas
  • Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental front desk role
  • Familiarity with dental software is advantageous
  • Ability to lift light weights as needed
