Job Overview

At Broward Health Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical surgical oncology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

  • This position requires a minimum of one to two years of experience as a registered nurse in a medical-surgical or oncology setting.
  • Newly licensed RNs may apply but may need to complete appropriate specialty training for the area.
  • The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, provides, intervenes, and evaluates the care of assigned patients based on the treatment plan and individual patient needs.
  • Participates with the interdisciplinary team to establish an individualized plan of care for each patient.
  • Develops a nursing diagnosis and establishes care objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN).
  • Certifications:
    • Registered Nurse
    • BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross
    • Job/department-related certification/license as outlined in the specific job description

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
