Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and technical assistance to nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform a variety of clinical and non-clinical tasks to prepare for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
- Collect and label specimens, transport them to the lab, and accurately enter data into the computer system.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans under the direction of the nurse.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
