POSITION OVERVIEW AND DUTIES
The role involves taking on leadership responsibilities within a specified clinical environment to guarantee the effective and suitable delivery of patient care. The position supports and upholds the policies and standards of the University Health System, as well as those of the clinic's department.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory (as per CAP requirements). Candidates should possess extensive experience across various healthcare sectors or specialized fields, with a minimum of 10 years in nursing practice. It is essential to fulfill the criteria for the Staff Nurse III career ladder within the designated area. Holding a current Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association is highly preferred.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Active Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners is a prerequisite.
