**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Operations Officer to join our team. As an Airport Operations Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the airport, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with FAA regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct daily terminal inspections to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and identify any discrepancies or maintenance concerns.
  • Assist airlines with various requests, including fuel or lavatory spill calls, custodial spills, and incident reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and incidents, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
  • Input and submit work orders for airport maintenance and care, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely completion.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments and tenants, providing information and services related to airport facilities and operations.
  • Respond effectively to alerts and emergency situations, coordinating communications and information sharing to mitigate their impact on airport operations.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a relevant field may be substituted for experience.
  • Two years of experience in aviation, airport operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
  • Ability to pass TSA background check.
  • Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • May be subject to 24/7 emergency call-outs.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate airport video recording systems.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to public use airport facilities and inspection procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse individuals and groups.


**Compensation:** The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
