Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist professional nursing and care providers in providing care to patients with respect for their uniqueness.
  • Collaborate with the RN and healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
  • Assist with basic patient care and activities of daily living.
  • Maintain unit-specific documentation as required.
  • Order, maintain, and utilize supplies for the assigned unit.
Requirements
  • No High School Diploma and/or No GED Required
  • Less than 1 year of work experience
  • CNA-Certified Nurse Aide - ANCC - American Nurses Credentialing Center Required
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to use medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
  • Skilled in maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to communicate clearly
