The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance, control, and improvement principles, as well as excellent communication and documentation skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing and evaluating technical laboratory procedures in various clinical areas
  • Maintaining quality assurance, control, and improvement principles
  • Providing rapid and accurate reporting of results
  • Relaying and documenting alert values
  • Modeling behavior consistent with the Cambay Healthcare Mission and Values statement

Education and experience requirements include:

  • Associate's degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an NCCLS or AMA-approved program
  • Tennessee license or national registry certification
  • Minimum one year of experience under a qualified director
