Medical Field Specialist

At Physicians Toxicology Laboratory LLC, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Collector to be the welcoming face of our company and to foster our partnerships with clinics.
The main function of this position is to conduct urine and blood specimen collections ensuring the integrity of the specimen.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss the drug testing process with the patient, obtain the patient's consent, and necessary signatures tied to the requisition form and other lab documents.
- Package and ship the specimen to the laboratory in a timely fashion.
- Ensure the accuracy of paperwork (requisition form).
- Paperwork HOLDS cleared within 48 hours of receipt/notice.
- Ensure supplies are kept in stock at the clinic (avoid rush shipping).
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Build positive, productive relationships with the clinic.
- Possess a professional business appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED diploma
Preferred Experience:
Previous hands-on medical field experience to include but not limited to MA, CNA, etc.
Starts at $18.00 an hour
