About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Healthcare. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, assessing their condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards.
  • Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
  • Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
  • Confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
  • Communicate information about patient status to other staff responsible for patient care.
  • Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • 1+ years' experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • BLS required within 30 days of start.
  • State Radiology Technician license required.
