As a key member of our Energy Resources Center, you will play a critical role in developing partnerships with private and public sector organizations to advance energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead energy efficiency and sustainability projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct energy audits, studies, and analyses to identify practical solutions to energy problems in various sectors, including industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring that energy efficiency and sustainability principles are integrated into all aspects of project development and implementation.
  • Lead engineering teams and serve as principal investigator on projects, directing tasks and taking responsibility for results.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop new energy efficiency and sustainability opportunities, and to develop and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest energy efficiency and sustainability technologies, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to inform project development and implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical, industrial, electrical, chemical, civil, or energy) with a minimum of two years of experience in energy, manufacturing, utility, research, or service industry.
  • Alternatively, Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance with a minimum of one year equivalent work or research experience in a related field.
  • Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of energy engineering principles, including technical concepts, analysis techniques, and energy-financing principles.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet research.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in modeling heat pump technologies.
