About the Role

Eureka Multifamily Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure our properties are well-maintained and ready for occupancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures
  • Assist the Lead Maintenance and Maintenance team with tasks such as HVAC installations, plumbing duties, and carpentry work
  • Perform and assist with appliance repairs, carpet repairs, and minor electrical repairs
  • Install and repair deadbolt locks, and assist with resident functions as required
  • Participate in an ongoing property improvement plan and preventative maintenance program
  • Operate computer systems to maintain and track service tickets, inventory, and maintenance reports
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 or more pounds
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand tools
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
