Job Title: Vice President, Policy Insights, USA

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President to lead our Policy Insights team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engaging senior federal policymakers and a deep understanding of the needs and interests of federal policymakers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with policymakers participating in our research
  • Build awareness and trust with policymakers on the Hill
  • Lead efforts to retain past research participants and grow our network of new policymakers
  • Serve as the face of the team externally to policymakers and provide the voice of policymakers internally
  • Establish partnerships with relevant caucuses, associations, networks, and entities to encourage the growth of our reach across policymakers
  • Play a key leadership role on the External Affairs and Policy Insights teams through managing and partnering with team leaders to develop and achieve strategic objectives
  • Partner with team leaders, providing guidance and support on hiring, professional development, and management of teams
Ideal Candidate:
  • 7+ years' experience engaging senior federal policymakers, with deep insight into the needs and interests of federal policymakers
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience working on Capitol Hill, at a senior level
  • Relationship-builder: Proven ability to develop relationships with influencers at all levels
  • Truly exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience developing persuasive messaging and effective communications
  • Ability to act and react quickly and flexibly in a fast-paced environment, with ability to thrive in ambiguous, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environments
