The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Pain team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting optimal functioning despite pain conditions.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with complex pain conditions, adhering to UAMS, ANA, and specialty standards.
- Collect and document comprehensive assessment data to inform patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized Plans of Care, incorporating medical orders and interdisciplinary approaches.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide effective patient and family education, including discharge planning.
- Administer medications and provide drug information to patients and families.
- Act as a resource and support for colleagues, students, and staff.
- Delegate care based on ASBN Delegation Model, legal and regulatory requirements, and individual level of education and training.
- Graduate from an ASBN-approved nursing program.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's in Nursing, Master's in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Arkansas.
- 1 year of direct RN experience.
- Current ACLS certification.
