Position Overview:
This role is designed to deliver specialized training in HVAC installation, servicing, and product application for both clients and internal staff. The trainer will leverage their extensive experience in the installation, service, maintenance, and sales of mini-split and VRF inverter-driven systems to provide HVAC-specific education to diverse audiences in various settings, including training centers and online platforms. The trainer must recognize different learning styles and tailor their approach to effectively engage participants. Additionally, they will contribute to the creation of both online and in-person training courses and support projects assigned by the National Training Manager to enhance overall company performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to installers, service technicians, maintenance personnel, sales teams, and application specialists for both external clients and internal staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.
- 7 - 10 years of specialized training and expertise in the HVAC sector.
- Experience in training diverse audiences.
- Background in developing educational courses.
- Ability to evaluate training content and materials for highly technical HVAC products.
- Skills in planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.
- Familiarity with business and educational software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Articulate Replay & Storyline, as well as online seminar tools like GoToTraining, Teams, Zoom, and others as implemented.
Environment:
- Operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and view a video display terminal for over 90% of work time.
- Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment, boxes, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds using appropriate handling equipment and procedures.
- Occasionally work beyond standard hours.
- Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Regular travel with overnight stays up to 50% is required.
- Strong presentation abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve personal and departmental objectives within established timelines with minimal supervision.
