Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of issues related to commercial litigation, civil and criminal law, real estate, oil, and gas.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation processes from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
  • Develop effective litigation strategies and argue cases before judges and juries.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as an Associate Attorney or similar role.
  • Proven experience in commercial litigation, drafting legal documents, civil and criminal law, real estate transactions, and oil and gas laws.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong research and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
