Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical trials program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process outpatient and inpatient investigational prescriptions using our CTP computerized drug management system.
  • Receive and handle investigational drug supplies, as well as patient and sponsor returns.
  • Perform inventory management, including drug ordering, receipt, expiration date checks, accountability, and drug returns.
  • Prepare sterile and non-sterile products in accordance with USP and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist in training of pharmacy staff and maintain required training competencies.
  • Correspond with study team members and sponsors as needed.
  • Aid the Pharmacist in monitoring visit scheduling, setup, triage, and resolution of findings.
  • Perform daily monitoring of CTP fridge, freezer, and room temperatures.
  • Participate in study closure and document archival.
Requirements
  • Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
  • National Certification
  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Research pharmacy experience
  • Computer literacy
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
