Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient and knowledgeable Advanced Interventional Radiology Technologist to become a vital part of our innovative team. In this role, you will be tasked with executing a range of specialized diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures utilizing fluoroscopic technology under the supervision of a physician. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in radiologic technology, hold an ARRT certification, and maintain a valid Fluoroscopy license in California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct specialized diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures including angiography, vascular interventions, neuro interventions, and other advanced imaging modalities.
  • Utilize fluoroscopic equipment to visualize and guide procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and prioritizing patient safety.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, clearly explaining the process and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing necessary tools, supplies, and support as needed.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, evaluating their condition and promptly addressing any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Maintain precise patient records and documentation of procedures performed, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and enhance the overall efficiency of the department.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Valid California state Fluoroscopy license.
  • A minimum of [2] years of experience as an Advanced Interventional Radiology Technologist, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Proficient in operating fluoroscopic equipment and knowledgeable about radiation safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
