Exciting Opportunity for Electrical Engineering Support

Volt is immediately hiring a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Support professional in Hanscom AFB, MA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide critical support to our team. As an Electrical Engineering Support, you will play a key role in evolving the capabilities of legacy and future aircraft through battle network connectivity, enhanced on-aircraft mission computing, and real-time software updates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware, software, and DevSecOps/integration processes to enhance aircraft capabilities.
  • Responsible for Requirements Definition and Analysis Management, Design Reviews, and risk/opportunity management related to Obsolescence Engineering.
  • Collaborate with multiple companies to develop, integrate, and demonstrate Elrond technology.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree and approximately 10 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and approximately 8 years experience OR In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and approximately 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • A US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the TS/SCI level is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated skills in systems engineering, risk/opportunity management, obsolescence engineering, and strong communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in systems engineering, particularly with aerospace systems.
  • Background in risk/opportunity management and obsolescence engineering.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance priorities, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments, taking ownership of tasks, and technical efforts spanning multiple stakeholders.
