Job Summary:

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled and experienced Thoracic Imaging Specialist to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the non-tenure academic clinician track. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiothoracic imaging and a strong background in teaching and clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiothoracic imaging fellows
  • Lecture to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
  • Participate in educational leadership roles within the division
  • Interpret chest radiographs, thoracic CT, and thoracic MRI
  • Perform thoracic needle biopsies
  • Participate in shared after-hour and weekend coverage

Requirements:

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
  • American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub-specialty training in Cardiothoracic Radiology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cardiovascular CT and MRI clinical practice
