We are seeking highly qualified candidates for Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track within the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include provision of clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC, with opportunities available in general and/or cardiovascular anesthesia.
  • Applicants with expertise in critical care, neurocritical care, obstetrical, regional, or pain management are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system.
  • Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
