Responsibilities:
- Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care to achieve the goals of the nursing department.
- Manage the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exams, providing general nursing care and comfort, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive work environment that promotes patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
