Assembler, Production - 2nd Shift

At Ridefox, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
  • Gather parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and sub-assemblies using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels and anticipating needed supplies.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Requirements:
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Dedicated to quality.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with controls and instrumentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment.
  • Experience using mechanical inspection or power tools.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Production/Manufacturing environment.
  • Lift up to 40-50 lbs. frequently.
  • Requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting for long periods of time.
  • Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
