Job Summary

The Sous Chef is a key member of the culinary team, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. This includes managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The Sous Chef will also assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Additionally, the Sous Chef will be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring that they are following proper food safety and handling procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role
  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and/or handle merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for entire shift
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and grasp
