Job Title: Police Officer

Join the City of Renton Police Department as a Police Officer and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure community. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, preventing crimes, and providing emergency services to the public.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crimes
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
  • Enforce laws and regulations, and issue citations as necessary
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence
  • Testify in court and provide expert testimony
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Washington State driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check and polygraph examination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
