We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Pennsylvania State University. The successful candidate will work in the laboratory of Professor Tae-Hee Lee in the Chemistry Department, focusing on single-molecule biophysics of the nucleosome, RNA polymerase II, and chromatin remodelers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in the area of single-molecule biophysics, nucleosome, RNA polymerase II, and chromatin remodelers.
- Develop and implement new experimental techniques and methods to advance research goals.
- Collaborate with the research team to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Prepare and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research at national and international conferences.
- Ph.D. in an area of physical or biological sciences or equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field.
- Strong background in molecular/structural biology and biochemistry.
- Experience with single-molecule biophysics techniques and methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
